We had another doctor appt this morning. All is going great! My blood pressure and such look good. We did have an ultrasound, although since they are getting so big, the doctor was unable to get any pictures of Joshua and Saray. She was able to tell us that Joshua is still head down, but Saray is now breech. Just two weeks ago, they were both head down. How in the world do they move in that cramped space?! We're praying she becomes head down again.
I have another ultrasound to measure their growth on July 24th at 10am. We'll see if the Tech can get any pictures. We'll just have to wait and see.
Since I haven't had any contractions which is good. My next appt will be in two weeks instead of one week. We'll start having one visit a week starting at 32 weeks. They will also start monitoring the babies using non-stress tests. They'll do that once a week, unless I start to have contractions regularly, if that happens then we'll have two non-stress tests in a week. We're getting close!!
That's the latest! Sorry no pictures.

30 Weeks!

I can hardly believe that I am at 30 weeks now, it just doesn't seem possible. I feel as though it was just yesterday that I was taking a pregnancy test and getting that positive sign. And now here we are just days away from meeting our little ones! *Gulp* This is not a dream, this is really happening!Oh I have to tell this story...
The last few months I have been looking around for a double stroller. At first I was just gonna get a "Snap-N-Go" stroller frame, where you snap the car seats directly into it. But then I realized that Graco has a double stroller that works with the car seats we have, plus you can use it once the kids have outgrown their carseats. I figured that I would have to spend about $60 more to upgrade from the "Snap-N-Go" frame to the Graco stroller, but in the end it would be saving us lots of $$. Anyway, the other day Jer and I went to Rapid City, we slipped over to Toys R Us to see if they had the Graco stroller that I had been looking at online. We wanted to see how it worked, looked, etc. Generally this stroller is around $150. We noticed that this stroller had been marked down from $149 to $129. Not bad, but I wasn't to quick to jump at the deal. Then Jer realized that there was a $20 off coupon for stollers over $99, so that would make the stroller $109. Now that's a better deal! So we decided we just couldn't pass it up. We check out and for some reason it rings up much cheaper then the $109, we got it for $85.00! Along with the $20 off, it was also 20% off! What a DEAL! We couldn't believe it! We saved over $60! Plus, the Graco stroller cost less then if we had gotten a "Snap-N-Go" frame.
Oh, earlier that day we had gotten a $75 check from Jer's Dad & Rose. So basically we only had to pay $10! What a huge blessing from God!! :)

3D Ultrasound

Yesterday morning we had another 3D ultrasound done. What a trill it is to see our babies, even if it's via a screen. It's so hard to believe that the babies we see on the screen are growing inside me. With each passing day our excitement grows. Currently, I am 28 weeks and 3 days along.
Anyway back to the utlrasound and update: Joshua weighs 2lbs 7oz and Saray weighs 2lbs 8oz. The tech stated that Saray for sure has hair. Joshua doesn't noticably have any hair (yet). I had tons of curly hair when I was born and Jer had peach fuzz when he was born. Haha. It seems as though we have 2 mini me's in the making. :) It will be so much fun to see them in person.
Our next appt is in 2 weeks, on July 10th - our 4th anniversary! Wow! How time flies!!
Enjoy the pictures!

Love Ya
You two babes are getting so big! You're pushing out your Mama's tummy more every day! I enjoy watching you roll and kick and stretch under your Mama's skin. I wonder how much longer it will be before we meet face to face. Oh, what a wonderfully exciting day that will be. Love you babies! ~ Daddy

27 weeks

This week is number 27. The time is just flying by! Here is a new picture of the belly and also a new photo was added to "progression" series.
Oh before I forget...Saray had the hiccups noticeably (to me that is) on the 13th. What a funny feeling that is. I haven't noticed yet if Joshua's been getting the hiccups.
The Latest Happenings

This past weekend we were in Dickinson ND celebrating birthdays, my cousin's wedding and our twins. My wonderful cousins threw me a baby shower on Saturday; they went way out as if they were throwing a party with 50 attendees. We had great food, fun games and everyone was very generous in their gift giving. I am constantly blown away by how everyone is so very excited about our twins.Jer and I are continuing to work on the nursery. Jer decided that the
closet needed to be redone; he put 3 shelves in the back and the hanging rods have been moved forward as so no space is wasted. Jer is so creative and thinks things through very well. Jer also put together the second dresser/changing table. Things are coming together just fine. Now we just need to get everything organized in the nursery. Oh and paint!I am reminded once again how God causes all things to work together for good for those who love Him. He has comforted me in my troubles so that I can in turn comfort others. Late last week I got a message from a friend of mine that works at one of our local radio stations, The Point. She wondered if I'd be willing to be interviewed for a show they do on the weekends, the topic would be on miscarriage. Of course I said yes as I knew this would be just another opportunity for God to get all the glory. So yesterday I made my way to Rapid City to meet with my friend at the radio station. She asked me to share my story about our two miscarriages and also about our current double portion. I shared about the emotions I experienced, the heartache involved in losing my children and also I gave some encouragement to those who would be listening. It will be a few weeks or more before the finished production is aired. I am so excited to hear how God uses this to bring himself glory and also to comfort and encourage others.
Oh, I almost forgot! We have another 3D ultrasound scheduled for the 25th of June at 9am. I'll be sure to post pictures of the twins.
That's about it for now...

Progression
Can you believe the difference between these 3 pictures? Our precious little ones sure are growing and wow is it showing. :) People are beginning to wonder if I'll pop, yet when I look at myself I still feel and look small. I am trying with all my might to imagine just how big I will be by the end of this pregnancy. I am continuing to pray that we make it past 36 weeks.
